Buitenverwachting wines, rooted in decomposed granite soils and cooled by ocean breezes, offer a taste that truly goes Beyond Expectation. Their slow ripening climate with cold nights and modest daytime temperatures results in fresh, crisp, and full-bodied wines. The winemakers specialize in Sauvignon Blanc with unique “yellow” fruit flavors like melons, passion fruit, yellow apple, and gooseberries. Their south-facing vineyards produce distinct Sauvignon Blancs with rich “green” flavors, akin to green peppers.

Enjoy a meticulously crafted four-course dinner by Chef Patron Dino, each dish paired to enhance the wine’s nuances. At R750 per person, this evening is set to elevate your senses, showcasing Prosopa Restaurant’s culinary prowess and Buitenverwachting’s exceptional wines.
