On Thursday, 29 May 2025 at Prosopa Restaurant in Waterkloof Heights, Pretoria, Cellarmaster and Winemaker ‘King Charles’ Hopkins of De Grendel takes centre stage alongside Chef Patron Dino Fagas and in-house Sommelier Moses Magwaza.

Charles – who set up De Grendel’s cellar in 2005 at Sir David Graaff’s invitation – brings over 30 years of award winning expertise, blending science and artistry to craft wines that truly speak of their terroir.

Across four thoughtfully paired courses, you’ll savour six exceptional wines chosen by Charles and Moses. Each pour reflects meticulous vineyard care – from gentle harvesting to careful cellar handling – and showcases the distinctive character of the grapes and the vision of their makers.

Chef Dino’s menu highlights fresh, gourmet Greek flavours that complement every tasting, creating harmony between plate and glass.
