Presented by Neethlingshof winemaker Mika Engelbrecht, this is a night where expressive wines, warm Greek hospitality, and bold flavours come together with ease. Chef Patron Dino Fagas and in-house sommelier Moses Magwaza set the tone for an evening that feels polished, welcoming, and full of life.
Mika brings a confident, youthful energy that is hard to miss. As head winemaker at Neethlingshof, she is part of a new generation shaping the future of South African wine, combining technical skill with curiosity and a genuine passion for the craft of winemaking.
Her achievements speak volumes too: in 2024 she was named on WineLand Media’s 30 Under 30 list, and she was also awarded Diners Club SA Young Winemaker of the Year. With a strong focus on sustainability, conservation, and hands-on winemaking, she brings a modern edge and real depth to every bottle. Alongside a dynamic cellar team, she is helping define what contemporary winemaking looks like.
As the evenings turn cooler, Prosopa offers the perfect setting to slow things down and settle in and at R888 per person for four courses and five wines, this is a cosy, feel-good evening designed to be savoured, warm, inviting, and just indulgent enough.
