You’re invited to Prosopa Restaurant on Thursday, 27 March 2025, for an unforgettable Tour of Italy wine evening, hosted by Lorenzo Gabba, son of renowned wine importer and qualified wine judge, Stefano Gabba, owner of Gabba International.

Lorenzo has spent the last 20 years immersed in the world of wine, learning from his father and exploring Italy’s finest vineyards. Now, he’s bringing his expertise to Prosopa Restaurant for one night only!

This event promises a perfect pairing of exquisite wines selected by our master sommelier, Moses Magwaza and a specially curated menu by Chef Patron Dino.

The evening kicks off with a glass of Riserva d’Oro Millesimato Brut, a sparkling Italian welcome to set the tone.

Then, prepare for a journey through Italy’s best flavors with four carefully crafted courses:

First Starter

Paired with Lamberti Soave, a crisp, fruit-forward white wine from the hills of Soave near Verona, bursting with notes of peach, citrus, and white fruits.

Second Starter

Served alongside Tenuta Aquilaia Vermentino Maremma Toscana DOC 2022, a beautifully aromatic white with zesty lemon, wild herbs, and a hint of white pepper on the finish.

First Main

Enjoyed with La Torre Rosso di Montalcino 2020, a Sangiovese-based red from Tuscany, known for its fresh cassis, wild cherry notes, and a classic balance of acidity and texture.

Second Main

Accompanied by Ca’Bianca Barolo, a rich and structured Nebbiolo from the prestigious Barolo region, sourced from low-yield vines for deep, complex flavors.

Dessert

Rounded off with I Quercioli Reggiano Lambrusco Dolce, a semi-sweet, lightly sparkling red from Emilia-Romagna, offering a luscious and refreshing end to the meal.
